Palandöken is an important ski resort with the longest and steepest ski slopes in the world. It was ranked 18th among the 41 best ski resorts in the world by the New York Times Newspaper.
The slopes in Palandöken offer excellent quality snow throughout the ski season thanks to its powder snow feature. Powder snow represents the crisp form of thin, light and fresh snow. This snow structure provides the best conditions for skiers. It offers a smooth surface, which means a better gliding experience. A thin layer of snow allows for better maneuvering and faster gliding.

There are ten tourist facilities in the region, four of which are 4-star and six of which are 5-star, as well as ski lodges, daily facilities and restaurants. Konaklı Ski Resort, known as Palandöken2, has 24.8 km of slopes in addition to this total number of slopes. The total slope length of these two ski resorts is 87 km. The longest ski slope is 12.5 km long and you can ski continuously along this slope. In addition, the altitude difference between the starting and finishing elevations is 1100 meters.
