
Palandöken Economic Forum Begins
Organized to address the effects of digitalization and artificial intelligence-focused transformations on the global economy and societies, the Palandöken Economic Forum opens its doors today at 14:00.
Organized with the main theme of “A Fair Future in a Smart World: Smart Economies and Global Inequality,” the forum aims to comprehensively discuss the relationship between increasing economic inequalities at the global level and digital transformation processes. The opening of the event will begin with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s address via video conference. Then, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will meet with business people.
As part of the forum, topics such as the construction of smart economies, industries and services transformed by artificial intelligence, climate change, ecological transformation, energy policies, global cooperation strategies against inequalities created by the transformation period, culture and tourism in the age of artificial intelligence, Turkey’s investment horizon, and cooperation searches between Turkey and the Arab world will be addressed by experts.
The event, which will consist of four main sessions, three special sessions and PEF Focus speeches, will bring together approximately 500 participants from 27 different countries, including government representatives, business people, academics and civil society organization officials.
The Palandöken Economic Forum, which will start today and last for two days, aims to contribute to the development of solution proposals to build a fair, inclusive and sustainable global future.
