
Erzurum Civil Society Organizations in the Istanbul Region Held an Information Meeting on the 2025 Tourism Capital
An important information meeting was held with Erzurum civil society organizations in the Istanbul region as part of the activities that will continue throughout the year for Erzurum, which was declared the 2025 Tourism Capital by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Detailed information was shared at the meeting about the activities to be held throughout the year, tourism projects and the international promotion process of Erzurum.
ECO Tourism Capital Coordinator Muharrem Çığlık, Erzurum Deputy Governor Mustafa Berk Çelik and Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Zafer Aynalı attended the meeting and conveyed the details of the process to the civil society organization representatives. Information was provided especially about major events such as the ECO Countries Tourism Ministers Meeting, Palandöken Economy Forum, TV Series Gala and Award Night, Gastronomy Fair, Winter sports and sports organizations.
In the meeting, which saw intense participation, the executives of the civil society organizations stated that they were ready to fulfill their responsibilities to make Erzurum an international tourism center and that they wanted to take an active role especially in the promotional activities and the Palandöken Economic Forum.
