Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman Lawyer İbrahim Küçükoğlu stated that 2025 will be the year of Erzurum.
AK Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman Lawyer İbrahim Küçükoğlu, who made an assessment of the projects requested, put on the agenda and carried out for Erzurum in 2023-2024, said, “2025 will be the year of Erzurum. Our city will meet with important investments in all areas from tourism to education, industry to technology, social life to economy, culture to environment.”
“Our President gave the good news of a stadium”
Stating that they received the promise of a 20 thousand-person stadium at the AK Party 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress held on December 14, 2024 with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Küçükoğlu said, “We held separate meetings with our Ministers, Deputies, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak regarding the stadium and reached a decision on the issue.”
Opening of consulate in Erzurum
Küçükoğlu, who stated that the Zangezur Corridor functions as a strategic transit point for regional energy projects and trade routes, said, “This corridor has the potential to transport the energy resources of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Central Asian Turkish states to European markets. A special briefing was given to our Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and put on the agenda for Erzurum to be an important stop of this trade corridor. Opening of consulates in Erzurum was put on the agenda within this scope.”
Erzurum customs city
Küçükoğlu, who stated that according to the export data from the city, it is aimed to make Erzurum a customs city by taking important steps regarding customs activities, continued his words as follows, “In this context, it is among our expectations that Erzurum Customs Directorate Service Building will be built in our city and Erzurum, which was a customs city in the past, will regain its rightful position in terms of customs activities.”
2nd Organized Industrial Zone
AK Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman Av. İbrahim Küçükoğlu, who noted that significant developments have been made regarding the land allocation for the Erzurum 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, said, “Together with our ministers, deputies and Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, we met with our Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler regarding the land received from the General Staff in the Erzurum 2nd Organized Industrial Zone and our land allocation for the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone has been realized. We are experiencing the happiness of realizing one of the most important projects that will affect the future of the city.”
6th Incentive Zone
Emphasizing that Erzurum is in the 5th region within the scope of the general incentive program, Küçükoğlu later said, “It is the most important city that is not in the 6th Region but should be. Considering both the climate conditions, geographical conditions and population, production, employment and economic development in the region will be supported, migration will be reduced and it will make a great contribution to the region with the 6th Region Incentives. As a result of the discussions we held within this scope, the scope of the 6th Region was put on the agenda. It is among our goals to share the good news about this in a short time.”

President Küçükoğlu stated that a special briefing was given to Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who came to Erzurum on August 30, 2023 within the scope of the "City Meetings" to retrieve the 9 regimental banners and 1 Pasin banner that the Russians who occupied Erzurum took to Russia in 1916, and the situation was conveyed, and said, “Our Minister, who immediately intervened in the issue of captive banners, held meetings and put this issue on the agenda. We want to do our best to return our Esin banners to their homeland and give this good news to our people who are adorned with national and spiritual values and have a sense of civilization.”
High-Speed Train
Explaining that the first expected effect with the high-speed train, as seen from all world examples, will be that it will be easier and faster to enter Erzurum from outside, President Küçükoğlu said, “With the high-speed train, the business world will meet a larger labor market and thus, it will reduce wage costs and increase profits. In addition, increasing access to skilled labor will also increase productivity. Since Erzurum is a connection point to many cities, it is likely that the high-speed train will gain upward momentum in many service sectors. The YHT System, which we see as one of the most important steps of economic growth, will have a very high impact on Erzurum and the areas of the region. Our Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu gave this good news from Erzurum as a result of the meetings held at the Erzurum Provincial Advisory Council on July 13, 2023, and gave the good news that the work related to the High-Speed Train is continuing rapidly.”

Erzurum's health needs
Emphasizing that important developments have been made in Erzurum regarding health services, Küçükoğlu said, "As a result of our meetings with our Ministers, Members of Parliament and Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, together with our Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, we brought 37 Specialist Physicians and 231 General Practitioners to Erzurum in the field of health, and we were instrumental in the establishment of a new health team. In addition, in addition to our 57 ambulances registered in our inventory, a promise has been made to add new ambulances and to eliminate deficiencies in the health sector." he said.
The Courthouse and dams will be completed

These; Narman Martyrs Dam, Aziziye Storage, Uzundere Reservoir, İspir Madenköprü Reservoir, Pasinler Otlukkapı Reservoir, Pasinler Porsuk Reservoir Raising, Köşk Reservoir Irrigation, İspir Kazancık Regulator Irrigation and 10 Flood Protection Facilities. As a result of our meetings with our Ministers, Members of Parliament and Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, as well as our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, our direct flights to Erzurum-Antalya, Erzurum-Bursa have started. Disabled Life Center
AK Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman Av. İbrahim Küçükoğlu also stated that the Disabled Life Center was also included in the investment program and said, “As a result of our meetings with our Minister of Family and Social Policies Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş; many aids and investments have been put into practice in many areas such as the Disabled Life Center, Young Inventors Coding the Future Project, Barrier-Free Art Projects with Soil, Disabled Home Care Services, Social and Economic Support Service (SED), Disabled Special Care Centers, Foster Family Services, and Birth Aids.”
