
Within the scope of the opening events of the ECO 2025 Erzurum Tourism Capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization Countries, under the auspices of the Presidency;
The opening of the Palandöken Economic Forum themed “A Fair Future in a Smart World: Smart Economies and Global Inequality” was held with intense participation.
Stating in his speech that social justice is under threat at the global level and that it has caused serious inequalities in wealth distribution, our Vice President Mr. Yılmaz drew attention to the fact that the new period has narrowed the gap between developed and developing countries. He stated that developing countries that manage the crisis well in this process can turn crisis environments into opportunities.
Drawing attention to the concept of productive artificial intelligence in his speech, our Vice President Mr. Yılmaz emphasized that artificial intelligence and technology-focused production should be disseminated throughout society through education. Touching on the importance of effective use of resources, our Vice President stated that these technologies make significant contributions to the field of health by shortening the time for diagnosis.
Expressing that social transformation is also necessary in addition to green and digital transformations, Mr. Yılmaz expressed that social justice can only be fully achieved in this way. Underlining that climate justice and social justice should be addressed together, our Vice President emphasized that social justice would be violated if resources were consumed and not transferred to future generations.
